Wolfgang J. Haag draws on a distinguished career spanning several decades, marked by leadership, innovation, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects under challenging conditions. His professional journey began in a highly turbulent environment, managing two major power plant projects in Iran immediately following the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Despite the ongoing war and political instability, Wolfgang successfully led these large-scale projects to completion, remaining in Iran for 15 years and demonstrating exceptional resilience and strategic acumen.
Following this assignment, Wolfgang assumed the role of Head of Large-Scale Power Plants at Austrian Energy, a position he held until 1997. During this time, he further solidified his expertise in managing critical energy infrastructure projects.
In 1997, Wolfgang founded Management Partners Unternehmensberatung GmbH, a consulting firm specializing in strategic advisory services for industrial clients and leading SAP implementation projects. By 2000, the company shifted its focus to the healthcare and social sectors, developing a proprietary Hospital Information System (KIS). This innovative solution was widely adopted across hospitals, medical practices, therapy and rehabilitation centers, care facilities for individuals with special needs, and nursing homes, establishing the company as a trusted partner in the healthcare industry.
In 2022, Wolfgang handed over the management of Management Partners Unternehmensberatung GmbH to his son, Peter Haag, while continuing to contribute his expertise as a Senior Lead Consultant.
In 2025, Wolfgang founded the HaagHarris Management Group, a strategic venture that continues the legacy of Management Partners in collaboration with devtech.pro. The HaagHarris Management Group focuses on delivering impactful, results-driven projects by combining deep management expertise with cutting-edge IT knowledge.
